Fordham University (Fordham College Lincoln Center) – Where Casey was a senior Communications and Media Studies major. Annual award provides compensation for a Communications and Media Studies major to perform an otherwise non-paid internship:

- NOYS (National Organization for Youth Safety) to sponsor with NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) an awards contest encouraging students to design and implement programs in their communities to take a tragedy and use it as a catalyst for positive change. NOYS award winners:
