Through our website, EndDD.org (End Distracted Driving), Joel Feldman, the Casey Feldman Foundation and 60 For Safety is coordinating distracted driving presentations in all 50 states and 10 provinces in Canada to coincide with National Distracted Driving Awareness Month in April. This effort is being coordinated with more than 750 traffic safety professionals, judges and lawyers across the country. Local presentations are presently scheduled for more than 20 high schools in PA and NJ and new locations are being added weekly.
Casey Feldman was a 21-year-old senior journalism student at Fordham University when she was struck and killed by a distracted driver in Ocean City, New Jersey on July 17, 2009. Casey graduated from Springfield High School in Delaware County, PA in 2006. The Casey Feldman Memorial Foundation was established in her memory and is involved in pedestrian safety and distracted driving awareness education.
